Riding Lessons
Kim Brutzman, our resident trainer at Miller Horse Farm, is an excellent trainer and gifted rider. She is very knowledgeable and specializes in dressage and combination training. Kim offers a solid dressage foundation.
Her training skills are exceptional. She is able to connect with a rider in a way that enables the rider to clearly understand what is being taught. Kim works with many breeds of horses and understands horse behavior. She is aware of how mind and body work in these beautiful intelligent creatures. Kim enjoys working with both young horses and older advanced horses.
She uses dressage to help riders pursue a variety of disciplines; teaching the balanced seat position which is the basis of all disciplines.
Miller Horse Farm has schooling horses and horses for lease to accommodate individuals who are interested in learning to ride, but are not ready to purchase a horse of their own. Through a horse lease, one can experience the joys and responsibilities of horse ownership without purchasing a horse, and without having to deal with certain liabilities. We have students who attend two lessons each week, moms who bring their children to begin an adventure on horseback, intermediate riders who improve their skills under Kim’s guidance, and competition riders who work to polish their skills and prepare their horses for competition.

We are willing to accommodate your individual situation so that you and your horse will get exactly what you want.
Kim also works with unbroke and green horses. Rates may vary.
